SalaryWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts, debits, credits, and journal entries. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate Accounts Receivable records, ensuring timely payment collection, and resolving any billing discrepancies.
Duties
- Process payments upon receipt
- Key in adjustments to maintain proper balance
- Ensure payment batches balance
- Confirm batches are logged, dated and filed in proper order
- Maintain accurate customer list
- Key customers status change info
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
