JOB DESCRIPTION:
Full ownership of all Accounts Receivable and Collections activities for our
stores within the MPEC group. Responsible for building and maintaining
professional relationships with Customers, Group Vice Presidents, Territory
Sales Managers, and Store Managers.
- DETAILED JOB REQUIREMENTS (including but not limited to):
- Customer Service
- Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
- Support RVP’s, TSM’s, Accounting Manager, VP of Finance with customer issues
- Conduct account research and analysis
- Respond to customer inquiries; provide explanation of account activity (i.e. application of payments, credits, and account status)
- Respond to internal inquiries regarding customer accounts
- Collection Activities
- Make daily collections calls, following the established collections matrix
- Maintain customer account notes within TAMS and/or Collections Worksheet
- Proactively review aging report and accounts on ‘watch list’
- Develop and document special payment programs where appropriate
- Regular communication with management, RVP’s,
- Provide feedback and continuous improvements suggestions related to collections policies and processes.
- Support extended Finance team and other functional areas as
required/requested by Accounting Manager
