Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk

Leisure Craft Holdings, LLC is looking for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk. This position is responsible for the daily activities of receiving, organizing, and shipping of orders.

JOB DESCRIPTION

DEPARTMENT: Administration/Finance

JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk

REPORTS TO: Controller

Position Objective:Accounting support to vendors, customers, and any internal staff needing assistance in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable. The servicing of these areas must be carried out through prompt, courteous, and professional methods at all times.

Position Functions:

Accounts Payable

• Matching/Assuring correct paperwork needed (packing slips, P.O.’s, and requisitions).

• Receiving – process receiving on purchase orders

• Entering bills into the system.

• Filing – Vendor info, paid and unpaid bills, etc.

• Review and research AP Aging Report, missing invoices/backup, and reconcile vendor monthly statements.

• Field all calls pertaining to A/P.

• Process check run, match check with backup, and mail checks.

• Any month-end duties applicable.

• Enter credit card charges

Accounts Receivable

• Customer Invoicing

• Record customer payments.

• Prepare and process deposits.

• Review and research A/R Aging Report and make collections calls as needed.

• Any month-end duties applicable.

Position Expectations:

• All vendors and customers are serviced satisfactorily with professionalism.

• All inquiries are responded to within 48 hours of being received.

• All bills are entered within 72 hours of receiving all required information.

• A/R invoicing is completed the same day that shipping supplies the paperwork.

• A/R Aging Reports are reviewed, and collection calls made every week.

• Direct assignments and projects completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 – 5 years Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience

• Associate degree (business and/or accounting) required.

• QuickBooks experience required.

• Knowledge of Microsoft office suite required.

• Strong organization and communication skills a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
