PennEngineering is seeking a motivated, excited, individual to be a part of our Accounting Team. As the Accounts Payable Specialistat PennEngineering, you'll collaborate with teams that do truly amazing things.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Performs the job of Accounts Payable Specialist in its entirety with minimal supervision.
- Follows strict Company policy and procedure in execution of duties.
- Using JDE, maintains high level of accuracy and thoroughness in duties.
- Support day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable function including, but not limited to:
- setting up vendors
- collecting W-9s
- entering vendor invoices
- entering employee expenses
- Performs Weekly AP Check Runs, Analyzes Reconciles Cash Disbursements.
- Successfully 3-way match purchase orders and invoices.
- Resolves invoice-related problems with vendors regarding pricing and quantity of items received.
- Work closely with the operations to gather the necessary documentation, invoices and reports to process payables.
- Open, sort and deliver department mail on a daily basis.
- Works on special analyses and projects as necessary.
- Accounts Receivable Backup.

Requirements
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable preferred.
- Knowledge of JDE is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Ability to exercise judgment, tact and diplomacy.
