Payroll And Payable Accounting Specialist

The Payroll and Payable Accounting Specialist is responsible for the bi-weekly payroll process for 150 employees and managing the processing and distributing of an average of 45 invoice payments per week. The position requires effective communications with employees and vendors and performing work in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

Payroll

• Manage and perform all aspects of the bi-weekly payroll cycle using ADP.
• Maintain relationship with ADP support personnel.
• Maintain multi-state Payroll and review ADP payroll tax payments.
• Provide information in support of the annual 401k audit, Workers Compensation audit and the company annual financial review.

Accounts Payable

• Ensure that the company’s invoices/bills are precisely administered and paid within terms – maintaining an efficient process for input and distribution of vendor payments.
• Employ continuous improvement to elevate efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable processes.
• Review expense reports for accuracy.
• Maintain and manage the purchase order system.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years experience with ADP Payroll software
• A minimum of 2 years experience with accounts payable processing.
• Microsoft office applications, including Outlook, Excel and Word.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Positions has no responsibility for the work of others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.25 per hour
