Accounts Payable Specialist

Animal Farm Family LLC is a holding company for three rapidly growing E-commerce companies based in Boise, Idaho:

• Gorilla Mind (gorillamind.com) - Innovative fitness & health supplements store centering around pre-workout, post-workout, protein, energy drinks and other products to support all fitness goals.
• Happy Hippo (happyhippo.com) - The world's leading online kratom retailer, along with other popular botanical and herbal supplements.
• Intelligent Shop (intelligent.shop) - A brand new men's lifestyle products store, creating innovative new products to help men become the best version of themselves.

We seek to expand our finance team with an Accounts Payable Specialist to support our continued growth and success. See job qualifications and responsibilities below!
Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in building, streamlining and improving the Accounts Payable process
• Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
• Perform invoice and general ledger data entry
• Execute credit card reconciliations
• Review purchase orders when necessary
• Assist finance with cash forecasting, AP reconciliation and other AP related inquiries

• Commercial banking and financial acumen
• Assist with month-end closing and audit support as necessary
• Perform journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
• Responsible for timely payment of vendor invoices, utility invoices, miscellaneous payment requests
• Research all vendor inquiries/questions regarding invoice and payment status
• Maintain vendor files and records

Required Qualifications:

• College degree preferred
• Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
• Superb time management skills, organization, and detail orientation
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information

• Strong mathematical skills
• 5+ years experience in Accounts Payable
• 5+ years experience with accounting software and online platforms
• Experience in retail and/or ecommerce is a plus

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Google Mail, financial software, and banking portals

Pay Transparency:
The base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000. The total compensation package may include performance bonuses, benefits, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
