The Role – What You’ll Do!
This role helps the Burke Accounting Team in these key areas:
Accounts Payable:
- Invoice management, vendor support, invoice reconciliation and taxes
- Monthly insurance verification and credit card reconciliation
- Work with various departments within Burke for invoice approval
- Maintain Purchasing Department vendor list
- Record capital purchases for balancing with GL
General:
- Organization and filing
- Assist team with month end and annual audit of accounting records
Qualifications That Move Us!
- Obtained or pursuing an associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, possesses exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and is a team player with good verbal communication skills
- Possesses a high-level understanding of Math and Accounting principles
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
