Robert Half has a current opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Located in Liberty Lake, Washington, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a contract to hire opportunity. In this influential department, there is a possibility for further career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk responsibilities will include matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.
Your responsibilities in this role
- Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
- Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned
- Help with internal and external audits as required
- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
- Implement full-cycle A/P
- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
- Data entry experience highly desired
- Receptionist Duties experience
- Command of Administrative Assistance
- Be detailed, flexible, and organized
- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
