Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate - Temp to Hire

Location: Fort Worth, TX (76106)

Pay: $20-$22/hr (BOE)

Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Job Description: This position is responsible for accurately completing vendor payments on time and maintaining the related vendor files.

**NICOTINE FREE FACILITY**

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer weekly processing of vendor invoices

• Guarantee alignment of 3-way match (Invoice, Purchase Order, and Receiver)

• Supervise accurate invoicing of Sales Tax by vendors

• Enter approved invoices into the payables system promptly, ensuring accurate recording and payment due dates

• Ensure timely utilization of vendor discounts

• Issue payments via checks weekly for upcoming payment due dates

• Manage bimonthly processing of commission checks

• Maintain precise vendor records

• Code UPS and FedEx freight on a daily basis

• Update UPS and FedEx Excel Spreadsheets regularly

• Process freight invoices for timely payment

• Act as a backup for other departmental roles as required

Job Skills Required:

• Must be self-motivated, prompt, and able to work without direct supervision.

• Excellent attendance is required.

• Must be Detail Oriented.

• Need to understand or be able to learn the computer system's processes as related to payables.

• Must be proficient in Excel (Will be tested)

• 10-key by touch

• Basic accounting knowledge is required.

Other Helpful Attributes:

• Positive contributions enhancing the accounting/credit department.

• Banking experience helpful

• SAP experience a plus
