Accounts Payable Associate

CLASS: Hourly, Non-Exempt

JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Associate

SUPERVISOR: Controller

HOURS: 7:30am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm

SUMMARY: Provides support to the Accounts Payable department and performs Accounts Payable functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Vendor Maintenance (Add New, Update)
• Processes All invoices for payment (coding, match PO, data entry)
• Track, process and pay reoccurring expenses (insurance, auto, rents)
• Prints and mails Accounts Payable checks.
• Enters all ‘Cash Out’ (ACH, Wires, Manual Checks)
• Match purchase orders to receiving reports and to invoices
• Maintains Accounts Payable files and records.
• Responds to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, expenses, and check requests.
• Prints and routes Accounts Payable reports.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Backup to AR

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One-year certificate from college or technical school, one to two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts.
• Proficient on windows applications
• Acute attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
