Rogers Group is currently seeking candidates to fill the ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT position based in Tuscumbia, AL. This position will provide Administrative Support to the North Alabama (NAL) management area quarry and construction operations. Candidates must be motivated, safety conscious individuals with good multi-tasking skills to manage a variety of administrative, procurement, and payroll related tasks. Performs general clerical duties in accordance with established procedures, requiring some judgement in the selection and interpretation of data. Candidate will also be trained to provide Accounts Payable, accounting, and billing support. Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, including Saturdays.
Job Requirements:
- Provide friendly, professional, and thorough customer service
- Manage Front Desk and Greet Visitors
- Take and input customer phone orders
- Become an iProcurement Super User
- Enter requisitions for purchase orders
- Process incoming invoices from vendors
- Order and maintain inventory for office and safety supplies
- Enter monthly expense reporting for Tuscumbia Construction employees
- Manage and complete regulatory compliance reports, permits and license including OSHA, MSHA. IFTA, and ALDOT
- Assist in processing paperwork for corporate accounting systems such as payable, payroll, etc
- Oversight of general office administrative duties
- May be called upon at the discretion of Managers to perform other duties
Wages starting at $22.00/hr. Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits are included.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma required
- Associate Degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting, Business Management or similar preferred – but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Prior experience with Accounts Payable, general accounting, and billing related tasks – preferred, but not required.
