JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR (WFH - Fulltime)
OFFER RATE: PHP 50,000 per month - NEGOTIABLE (Fulltime)
Working Hours: TBD (usually US hrs Night shift)
JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of the full-time accountant.
- Review and approve journal entries to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Conduct regular audits of financial transactions to identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations to maintain the integrity of financial reporting.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and documentation for tax filings and audits.
- Monitor internal controls to prevent fraud or unauthorized activities.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals as needed during audit and tax preparation processes.
- Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, including training and development opportunities.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding financial performance, issues, and recommendations for improvement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with demonstrated proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to supervise effectively and manage a team, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with auditing and tax preparation processes is a plus.
