Informed by the latest advancements in science and medicine, we combine evidence-based interventions with compassionate family engagement to help change lives.Reporting to the Revenue Cycle Manager, our Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and reporting on Accounts Receivable (AR) activities for Devereux Arizona Centers.
This position provides daily supervision and support to the AR Specialists, providing management of the Accounts Receivable system as per foundation policy. The AR Supervisor will provide training and direction to the AR team to ensure prompt and accurate billing and maximize the collection and cash conversion of accounts. As an AR Supervisor, you will develop best practices that create efficiencies for the AR department and operations of management. This position identifies trends, problem areas, and initiates support/training to AR team as necessary to effect improvements in AR management and collection results. The AR Supervisor assists the team with research and resolution of credit balances, provides support for cash application and revenue adjustments as requested / needed to ensure timely completion for month end close.
Salary: $43,484 - $47,832
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (flexible)

Qualifications
High School diploma/GED is required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Certified professional biller (C.P.B.), or certified coding specialist preferred
Three (3) years of related experience in Accounts Receivable/ billing/ collections with High School Diploma/GED; OR, one (1) year of related experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
Strong computer literacy and receivables software knowledge; strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and proficiency
Proven record of higher-level performance in Billing and Collections with prior management/supervision experience
Demonstrated understanding of the complete revenue cycle process from contracting and EHR system set up through billing and reimbursement
Knowledge of commercial insurances, state Medicaid plans, and other third-party billing processes, and familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements and statutes
Experience with automated billing systems and third-party clearing houses including the ability to interpret electronic billing/payment files
Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing demands of the position, center needs, and the organization while providing outstanding customer service
Excellent verbal and written skills, including experience in formulating policies and procedures; ability to problem solve new issues and make recommendations to Center Management.

Must be 21 years of age or older
Ability to attend full time, paid New Hire Orientation Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check
Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)
Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)
Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results
Must be able to complete and provide proof of current influenza vaccination
