Accounting Assistant and Customer Service Representative
Up to $60,000 to start plus full benefits
Accounting Assistant and Customer Service Representative
- Join a manufacturer of custom coatings for the automotive industry
- Provide a combination of Accounting and Customer Service support
- Receive complete training
- Administer Account Receivables and Account Payables
- Review customer billing information for accuracy and completeness
- Enter, process and distribute customer invoices
- Take, enter and process payments
- Apply payments to customer accounts
- Upload supporting documentation
- Reach out to customers with past due and/or delinquent payments
- Match supplier invoices against purchase orders and receipts
- Process and distribute supplier payments
- Post payments to supplier accounts
- Make updates to lists and spreadsheets
- Monitor and track expenses
- Review timekeeping information and process payroll
- Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment processes
- Contribute to month and year end close processes
- Reconcile accounts
- Identify, research and resolve errors, omissions and discrepancies
- Communicate with customers by phone and email
- Answer questions and address inquiries
- Provide information on product details, pricing, availability and lead times
- Create customer quotes
- Take, entre and process orders
- Monitor inventory supply levels and open orders
- Arrange and track shipments
- Troubleshoot both accounting and Customer Service issues
- Escalate complex issues as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- Accounts Receivable experience
- Accounts Payable experience
- Payroll Processing experience
- Customer Service experience
Pluses:
- +++ Related experience from a manufacturer and/or distributor of products
- +++ Benefits Administration experience
- +++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
