This position is responsible for processing daily and weekly audits, processing daily transactional data and ensuring corporate customer accounts are accurate and up to date. Ensure accurate & timely processing of all transactional data. Respond to customer inquiries ensuring that problems are resolved in a timely manner and with significant customer satisfaction. Follow up on customer issues within agreed upon timeframes, ensuring resolution and minimize potential for problem reoccurrence. We are looking for someone who enjoys accounting, and is passionate about working quickly and accurately. You must enjoy the repetitive nature of the work, as well as the challenge that comes with a high volume workload.
Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:
- Consistently meet standards of production and quality in the completion of assigned tasks.
- Processing and accounting for accounts receivable transactions.
- Reviews and resolves complex customer requests with minimal assistance.
- Communicate with customers and responds to inquires; takes corrective actions.
- Analyze compiled data, investigates and reconciles any discrepancies and recommends appropriate actions.
- Ensure that all processes are in accordance with Sox.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement and brings them to management attention.
A successful Accounting Clerk will have the following:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and to present information to customers, clients, and employees of the organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to apply business and accounting knowledge in daily decision making process.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to prioritize and possess strong organizational skills.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism, discipline and enjoy the competitive spirit of adventure.
- Bachelors or Associates Degree (or degree in progress) in accounting or related field is preferred; and two plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
