JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
To support the Finance/Accounting department in daily and monthly responsibilities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is currently a full-time, hybrid position at 40 hours per week. Typical office hours include Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. However, these hours may vary and periodically may be more than 40 hours per week based on workload and the manager’s discretion.
Essential Functions

- Enter divisional vouchers and review requisitions, purchase orders, and receiving documents for accuracy and completeness, appropriateness, and conformity to policies, procedures, and contractual agreements.
- Record and maintain sales and use tax documentation
- Month-end close
- Assist with billing
- Support Accounts Receivable collection efforts
- Conduct periodic inventory counts
- Maintain paperless environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- US Citizenship
- Associate degree in accounting or work experience equivalent
- Experience in Accounts Payable
- Familiarity of accounting debits/credits
- Skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheets
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Perfectionist by nature, with no tolerance for errors
- Must have excellent work habits and flexibility to conduct deadlines in a timely manner while maintaining accurate, swift, and reliable data entry especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures
- History of working in a paperless environment
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Education and Experience
- Manufacturing
- Working in a team oriented small company
- Cost accounting
- Experience in billing
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard office
equipment such as laptop computers and photocopiers.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
