Job Description
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to the Accounting Department. A successful candidate will have knowledge of basic accounting principles and the ability to work with financial data effectively.
- Accurately code and enter various invoices, vouchers, expense reports, and check requests into company system according to established procedures
- Digitally file, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports as needed
- Assist with monthly reconciliations, as needed
- Ability to follow-up on additional information
- Perform other duties as required to support Accounting Department
- Assist accounting department with special projects as assigned

- Ability to perform basic math; addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and calculate percentages

- Ability to meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and terminology
Experience and Education Requirements
- Accounting skills and knowledge preferred
- Experience in a professional service organization, architecture a plus
- Experience in 10-key by touch strongly preferred
- Computer literacy, with experience of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
