Job Description
Seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join my team as an accountant. This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone new to the field of accounting. The successful candidate will initially participate in the Accounts Payable workflow, with the opportunity for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Process invoices and expense reports for payment
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files
General Accounting
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support the preparation of reports
Other Duties
- Participate in special projects as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Exposure to / Experience with QuickBooks Online a plus ++
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per year
Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week

- Phoenix, AZ: Relocate before starting work (Required)
