We are currently seeking a dedicated In-House Accountant with a Specialization in Property Management Accounting to enhance our dynamic team.
Your Role as an Accountant:
As an integral part of our team, you will:
- Manage accounting duties specifically tailored to property management, utilizing QuickBooks for multiple entities under the JohnHart umbrella. Your prior experience with diverse subsidiaries will be instrumental in this role.
- Take charge of accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) processes.
- Oversee daily banking transactions and manage financial records with precision.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of reports with third-party records, ensuring utmost accuracy.
- Perform various administrative tasks, adapting flexibly to the needs of the team, both in routine and complex matters.
Qualities and Qualifications:
- Proven experience with QuickBooks and MS Excel.
- Background in handling financial matters for multiple entities or subsidiaries, with a focus on property management.
- A proactive, passionate, and enthusiastic approach.
- Self-reliant with a high degree of motivation.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of building effective relationships.
- Technological adeptness to learn and use various software programs.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a solution-oriented mindset.
- A positive and motivated individual who values solutions and outcomes.
- Unwavering integrity and respect for confidentiality.
Education, Training, and Experience:
- College coursework in accounting or related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, particularly in property management.
- Extensive experience with QuickBooks and MS Excel.
- Prior experience working with multiple entities is highly desirable.
