Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Business Development Account Manager to bring in new business in the greater Chicago market. In this position, you will play a crucial role in expanding our new client base and fostering long-term partnerships with existing customers. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of business development, client relationship management, and negotiations.
What you will do:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities for our Staffing solutions service line.
- Combine a strong work ethic with a best/smartest-practices approach to produce results.
- Utilize your proven experience in lead generation and managing key accounts to drive business growth.
- Build a qualified network of prospects and new clients for our staffing solutions.
- Work closely with teams across the Staffing and Digital agency to identify and qualify opportunities, delivering recommendations to new and existing clients.
- Develop long-term professional relationships with existing, new, and potential clients.
- Stay up to date with industry developments and trends, maintaining awareness of competitor activity.
- Develop and deliver presentations, negotiate contracts, and facilitate the execution of service agreements to drive successful partnerships.
- Participate in networking activities such as attending user groups, career fairs, and professional association meetings, both remotely and in-person.
Requirements
What you bring:
- 2+ years’ staffing industry experience required; IT/Creative staffing experience preferred.
- Proven track record of prospecting, engaging, and acquiring new business with examples of building a robust book of business.
- Possess a team-oriented, entrepreneurial, innovative, and creative mindset, fostering collaboration and embracing new ideas.
- Able to engage, consult, and negotiate at the highest levels.
- Client-driven with excellent relationship management skills.
- Experienced in marketing/selling consulting or recruitment solutions/services.
- Well-organized, driven, task-oriented, and self-motivated.
- A problem solver who always seeks to craft the optimal solution for clients.
- Articulate with strong written and presentation skills.
- Competitive, driven, and tenacious with a desire to succeed.
- Values-driven, highly professional, and with a strong focus on quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe.
- Familiarity with sourcing tools and techniques, including online social networking, traditional networking, Boolean searches, LinkedIn, and ZoomInfo, is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience with an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the greater Chicago metro area’s staffing market is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
