Position Description
The Account Executive is responsible for the sale of the organization's products in the U.S. Central region/major geographical area and provides ongoing support to products throughout all Euclid Vision Corporation companies. The Account Executive will provide thought leadership and execute the sales plan and strategy under the direction of the VP of Sales. The AE will evaluate and implement appropriate new sales techniques to increase the department's sales volume. In this role, the AE may recommend product or service enhancements to management based on observations or customer feedback to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. The AE also acts as an advisor to the sales and marketing teams regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
The AE will assist subordinates or distributors with organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develops and drives achievement of sales revenue to meet assigned territory targets.
- Conducts territory analysis and develops appropriate plans that align with the overall sales plan and deliver assigned targets.
- Actively drives new direct sales.
- Supports VP of Sales and/or Sales Manager with distributor sales orientation and sales training programs.
- Focuses on high volume key accounts to increase sales by developing marketing plans for those accounts.
- Assists with the planning of sales exhibits.
- Attends trade shows on behalf of EVG.
- Participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs.
- Keeps informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers.
- Stays informed on competitive activity and develops new methods selling our products as the competitive landscape and market conditions evolve,
- Collaborates with distributors, supports their Euclid product sales efforts and maintains good relationships between the customer and internal staff.
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years of professional experience in medical device sales
- Preferably has experience in the Contact Lens market, or related Optometric/Ophthalmologic fields.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and experience using Salesforce in a professional role.
- Must be able to drive participation and use of the product.
- Must be able to travel up to 50% to 60% of the time.
Quality Assurance
- Understands importance of adherence to all relevant company manufacturing, shipping / packaging and quality assurance related to Euclid Systems Corporate SOPs, Forms, Logs and indexes to ensure compliance with FDA regulations
