About the Role

Catch+Release is seeking a dynamic “hunter” Account Executive (AE) to join our sales team. This is a great opportunity to join an early-stage company that's already highly productive yet still building and learning. The team is results-oriented, collaborative and mission-driven. The AE is responsible for securing new brand customers and build upon our high profile customer brands we have partnered with for years. 

You are motivated, focused, and an energetic, self-starter who is comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment., You’re comfortable working both independently and as part of a broader team including cross-functionally with marketing, customer success and curation services. 

You will also work closely with product and marketing to provide feedback and learnings, as we hone and improve our GTM strategies and approach. You are comfortable working in an ambiguous, start-up environment and you embrace an experiment-driven, fail-fast culture. You have the ability to context switch and present to a variety of personas across marketing teams. 

What You’ll Do

  • Achieve/exceed quarterly revenue quotas by successfully working across new and active accounts, while maintaining continuity of clients’ relationship with Catch+Release.  
  • Develop a list of targeted contacts and accounts alongside sales leadership and conduct outbound with a strategic approach
  • Structure and direct the entire sales process from account identification to close.
  • Discover and qualify new opps and manage your pipeline from quarter to quarter with clean handoff to curation and Customer Success 
  • Continually demonstrate knowledge and support of C+R’s mission, vision, values and standards, policies and procedures, operations, workflows, confidentiality, and spirit. 
  • Maintain an active interest and understanding of the industry and technology developments as they relate to our customers, prospects, and competitors. 
  • Partner with the cross-functional teams to set proper expectations with customers and super-serve their needs.
  • Co-develop presentations during sales cycle stages and work with appropriate team-members to stay proactive in addition to providing input and feedback. Take part in recurring departmental training, maintaining current knowledge of product offering, messaging, and value proposition. 
  • Service and drive customer satisfaction for your accounts in territory.

 

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience successfully selling to complex brand marketing teams including in-house creative organizations and in-house production teams.
  • Proven track record and solid performance history of meeting or exceeding quotas, plus exhibited pipeline management and goal-setting techniques
  • Prior demonstrated prospecting experience through cold calling, networking and meeting functions
  • Experience successfully selling to a) complex brands who have sub-brands, b) the mid-market, and c) large enterprise Brands
  • Experience selling to a wide array of titles from CMO to Creative, production, brand managers, social + digital marketers.
  • A competitive drive to win and motivation to meet/exceed quotas
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and pull in the necessary support to get the deal over the line including marketing, operations, customer success, and senior management.
  • Natural ability to manage, lead, and support multiple projects and initiatives 
  • Reliable pipeline replenishment and revenue forecasting skills·  
  • A bias for action 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills and comfort demonstrating product.
  • Ability to navigate internally within organizations to uncover decision-makers and additional revenue opportunities 
  • Proficiency working with industry-standard sales productivity tools such as: Salesforce.com,  HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Outreach, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • BA/BS required
  • Training on and successful history working within at least one well-known Sales Methodology framework (ex. Sandler, Solution Selling, Value Selling, Complex Sale, Challenger Sale, etc.)
  • A relentless obsession and a deep sense of curiosity about our users and a drive to provide them with an exceptional experience  
  • Ability to work independently and reliably in a fast-paced environment under tight time frames, simultaneously embracing C+R’s culture of collaboration and transparency
  • A love of building and collaborating toward a collective goal

 

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Being knowledgeable and savvy with digital and social platforms, with an in-depth knowledge of the campaign / commercial production world and process from design to release of assets.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property licensing and/or industry-related experience is an added plus
  • AdTech experience, selling advertising products to brands to include AdTech products (DSP, DMP, DAM, CMS)
  • Coming to the table with a “book of repeatable business” or a list of previously called-on accounts and established relationships
