Account Executive - Programs Division
Widelity is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Account Executive to join our dynamic Programs Division. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing and managing client relationships, driving new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful delivery of our services. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for owning your pipeline and executing strategies to expand our customer base, enhance brand visibility, and maximize revenue generation. This is a full-time, 100% remote position with some anticipated travel.

The Programs Division provides a comprehensive suite of services to assist clients with navigating the complexities of government funding. We offer expertise in various areas, including:
Business technology consulting
- Grant writing and management
- Research
- Regulatory services
- Compliance
Funding consulting
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and established clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
- Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities, generating leads and converting them into closed deals.
- Manage the entire client lifecycle relationship, from initial contact through onboarding, project execution, and post-project support.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and support throughout the grant application and management process.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams, including program managers, subject matter experts, and operations personnel, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic marketing and sales initiatives for the Programs Division.
- Maintain a deep understanding of relevant government funding programs, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to showcase our capabilities and value proposition to clients.
- Exceed client expectations by delivering exceptional service and exceeding agreed-upon goals.
- Oversee and maintain your sales funnel, with the ability to report on relevant metrics in a timely fashion using our existing CRM and other tools as necessary.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets and other goals, adhering to established KPIs.
- Participate in market research to aid in business development efforts and stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
Maintain an unwavering commitment to asset protection and cybersecurity.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a related field, preferably in the professional services industry.
- Proven track record of success in exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue goals.
- Strong grasp of sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, etc.) is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels and work cross-functionally with internal teams and other departments.
- Comfortable engaging with prospects at the senior management level, including Director, VP, and C-suite, with the ability to command the conversation.
- Strong understanding of the government funding landscape and its associated processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and navigate complex situations.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and CRM software.

Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary and benefits package.
- On-target earnings: $80-160k (base + commission), commensurate with experience.

Travel Expectations:
Around 25% travel on average, but will fluctuate depending on sales activities.
Expected to call on clients, attend trade shows and conferences, and attend relevant meetings in-person as necessary.
