Account Executive

The Account Executive role owns the logistics and administration of the account. You will report to the Vice President, Account Director.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. If you are contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations.

Agency Operations

• Finances: Oversee the daily account work on the brand including budgets and bills. Familiarity with and adherence to agency financial and operating procedures. Maintain accurate, organized files.
• Trouble shoot: Brings problems to the attention of management
• Team Leadership: Positive influence on cross capability, internal team

Knowledge

• Understanding of the brand, category, and at least two media channels
• Adhere and be an advocate for agency process.
• Identify issues and contribute to problem resolution

Strategy

• Competitive positioning: Understands client positioning and strategy thoroughly; have solid competitive knowledge
• Informing: Keeps team informed of changes in client climate. Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects and frequently
• Planning: Research on category, competitive data, and therapeutic areas.

Tactics and Execution

• Contribute thoughtfully to the brand tactical planning and creative process
• Work with account team to build plan tactics
• Responsible for accurate and documentation: status reports, contact report, timelines; Take ownership of daily tactics and projects within agency
• Develop and positive working relationships with project management, creative, finance, or other departments

Client Relationship

• Communications: Attend client meetings and provide follow-up (e.g. contact reports). Synchronizes communications between account teams, vendors and clients
• Presentations: Organizes/manages client presentations. Experience communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect
• Relationship: Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects with some autonomy. Build rapport and credibility with client peer and expert counsel.
• Work with client to implement advertising and marketing plans

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience in advertising or marketing agency environment
• Pharmaceutical or healthcare experience
