To fuel our 2024 growth plans, we are looking for talented sales professionals to join our New York sales team.
As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in GDS, acquiring new clients and expanding our existing accounts.
At GDS we pride ourselves on rewarding our sales team, so you will receive a monthly, uncapped commission scheme so your success is recognized and rewarded, with OTE earnings in your first year expected to be $120,000
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics
- Engage with solution providers across the globe at the forefront of cutting-edge innovation and new technology.
- Partner with SVP and C-suite executives, work strategically with customers to position them and their advanced solutions in front of key decision makers from the largest enterprises in Europe and North America.
- Develop a robust pipeline and drive market share by securing new business opportunities while nurturing and developing relationships with existing clients
- Speaking with decision makers about their strategic commercial objectives and communicating our capability to directly match their solutions to enterprise projects.
- Developing a continuous sales pipeline by researching the multiple layers of your market to identify prospect organisations
- Provide strong domain and vertical expertise to help develop solutions that promote long-term engagement with GDS Group
- Articulate our value proposition to ensure the business impact of the solution is understood by our prospect/client
What you will bring to the role:
- A highly motivated sales professional with the passion to take on a new challenge
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Stellar communication skills, both verbal and written as you will be conversing with senior-level decision makers on a daily basis
- A desire to focus on new business sales and prospecting
- Able to excel in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment
- Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to hit goals, succeed and continuously develop
- Process-driven and follows best practice to achieve success
