Account Coordinator
As an Account Coordinator, you play a key role in group experience group retention by fostering strong client relationships. In this role you will actively support Account Managers handling escalated issues to ensure client satisfaction. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are key as you partner with Account Managers, ensuring clients are provided with the best possible service and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support new/existing group setup, implementation, and renewals.
- Strengthen relationships with assigned clients and brokers.
- Manage Account Management workflow for timely and accurate renewals.
- Work with employers and brokers to process member profile updates and special requests.
- Resolve escalated member, employer, and broker questions, cases, and concerns.
- Coordinate with internal departments for issue resolution and client satisfaction.
- Assist Account Managers in assessing client needs for engagement training and support.
- Participate in enrollment and other client-facing meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ related work experience.
- Familiarity with health insurance market, standards, and historic trends.
- Exceptional customer service skills, proven adaptability to individual client needs.
- Firm understanding of health insurance terminology, funding styles, and health savings accounts.
- Problem-solving skills and an ability to manage many cases.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proponent of healthcare consumerism, consumer-driven health plans, and innovation challenging traditional norms.
