DUTIES:
• Lead and support accounting operations, including accounting close process, and accurate preparation of financial accounting results and management reporting, including review of journal entries and monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate account balances.
• Ensure transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed, and supported in accordance with company policies, generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls.
• Assist in preparing the quarterly performance results package for Corporate Division, including balance sheet and P&L variance analyses.
• Proactively interact with corporate management to resolve quarterly questions.
• Support and work closely with internal and external auditors handling audit inquiries, including facilitating and organizing the necessary deliverables.
• Drive and participate in implementing/improving processes and controls to grow the accounting function.
• Participate in the evolution and implementation of a new ERP system, allowing for strong reporting and internal controls.
• Telecommuting permitted.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Master's degree in accountancy, finance or related, plus 1 year of experience in job, as Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant or related.
• Must include one (1) year experience leading monthly accounting/financial close processes, implementing ERP systems including Oracle and SAP and financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and SOX for entertainment industry; and
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition, Microsoft Excel (macros, VBA), Power BI, SAP and Oracle.
• CPA Licensure & CMA certification required.

Hiring Salary Range: $98400.0 - 165000.0.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
