55+ Hoa Community Manager Wanted

The Plantation At Leesburg, an established 55 and over restricted access active adult community Homeowners Association has an immediate opening for a licensed CAM. Our community of 2,820 homes is located in Leesburg, Florida. Our manager will have overall responsibility for maintenance, office, gate monitoring, and activities staff. Interface with and direction of contracted landscaping, tree trimming, janitorial, pool maintenance and other functions will be required. Annual preparation of an operating budget and monthly reviews of financial statements must be performed, and an annual list of expected capital projects must be submitted. While this position will have significant input into the service and construction contracts signed and the general operation of the Association, advance approval from the HOA Board will be required for all major expenditures. This position requires a self-starter and ‘people Person’. For the most part, your customers are the residents. This position will have considerable latitude in performing day-to-day duties. Our ideal candidate will be a well-spoken communicator with well-developed time management skills.

While licensed CAMs are desired, we will entertain applications from a broad spectrum of backgrounds. At one end would be an experienced Manager with a successful record of managing a large community like ours, or CAMs currently in an assistant position or in the Manager position for a smaller community desiring to grow and be challenged; at the other end of the spectrum will be individuals who have previous leadership, budgeting, and project management experience, as well as a demonstration for creativity and innovation. If selected, the individual must attain a CAM license within 90 days.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
