Community Outreach Manager

We are adding a new medical marijuana Community Outreach Manager to our growing team! As a Community Outreach Manager, you will be responsible for attending events and building relationships that result in new medical marijuana patient acquisition. You will be the face of our clinic and expected to represent the company in a professional and welcoming manner while meeting performance metrics. The Community Outreach Manager will lead new initiatives and build upon our current outreach program by forging and growing partnerships with physicians, community organizers, dispensary teams and local businesses. Must be able to self-start and take the lead on projects. A winning and positive attitude even when dealing with difficult patients is necessary! This is a full-time role that will require occasional weekend event attendance and an opportunity to get in at the ground level of an extremely fast-growing company! Come make your mark!

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Experience in sales and/or community engagement is a must
• Must be a proficient planner and organizer
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Self-driven and determined to succeed and grow
• Experience with CRMs such as Salesforce is preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Word. Proficiency with Quickbooks, Athena (or other EMR), and or Excel is preferred
• Takes directions well and confident to recommend new ideas to management
• This role requires 80% travel and 20% office work
• High school diploma required, Associates and Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ability to pass a federal background check; no felonies - Required
• MUST have your own, reliable transportation, and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

• Identify, attend, and plan community and networking events that result in our patient base growth
• Build strong partnerships with local physicians and businesses
• Overcome objectives during physician office visits and build a referral network in the areas where our clinic operates
• Answer inbound telephone calls and respond to communications in a timely manner
• Sign up new medical marijuana patients for their initial patient evaluation with our recommending physicians
• Log field activities and communications into our CRM
• Plan field activities in advance to create an effective and efficient schedule
• Represent MMJ Health in a professional manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
