Summary:
The Intake Specialist will be responsible for all intake, eligibility determination, and enrollment functions, as well as, compliance and quality assurance of program participant records. This includes outreach and recruitment.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Assists potential participants to complete application and enrollment process, collects and manages required enrollment documents to complete initial eligibility determination.
  • Responsible for conducting compliance/quality assurance audits for all participant files and enrollment and eligibility documentation. Assists other team members with file and system review.
  • Maintains program tracking spreadsheets for referrals, active cases, and participants in follow-up and completes monthly enrollment report.
  • Completes initial data entry to create client case and document upload to case management system and other applicable reports, systems, and spreadsheets.
  • Educates potential participants, and referral partners on the process to access Goodwill services, responds to in-person, phone, and electronic inquiries including referrals from funders.
  • Participates in outreach, recruitment and engagement activities; attends outreach and engagement events as needed.

Ancillary Job Functions:
  • Collects satisfaction surveys.
  • Manages internal referrals from other departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience - An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
  • 1-3 years' experience with online data entry systems required
  • 1-4 years' experience working with youth and/or adults required
  • CPR and First Aid certification required, as well as, crisis intervention training
  • Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license, personal auto insurance and have reliable transportation
  • Certification(s) relevant to workforce development desirable

General office conditions. Exposed to moderate noise levels.
