Freelance Public Relations

We are looking for Canada and Germany-based Freelance Public Relations (PR) professionals with relevant experience in executing end-to-end PR campaigns in the game/game development sector.

Selected candidates will carry out full PR campaigns, which may include consultation, press release writing, distribution, monitoring, and reporting. Candidates need to possess a deep understanding of the game media landscape in Canada and Germany, and be able to advise on specific PR angles that clients should devise in order to successfully land media coverage.

Candidates should be able to distribute PR to their pre-existing media contacts and generate a consistent number of pickups per campaign. They will then tally the overall result in an easily digestible report for clients.

Candidates should be able to execute a full campaign within two weeks. Practitioners who can show an excellent PR portfolio (with verifiable results) will be prioritized.

Experience working in any of the following PR agencies is highly desired:

• Edelman
• The Hoffman Agency
• Cohn & Wolfe XPR
• Ogilvy

Rate: US$3500 per campaign
