508 COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST
Location: Remote (with potential to be onsite occasionally or full time as required)
Full Time, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Agility Consultants is currently seeking an expert in 508 Compliance. This position is responsible for providing oversight and guidance on ensuring our work product is accessible to people with disabilities under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and that all 508 standards are met in our systems and documents. This position also provides remediation solutions and training as needed.
Job Duties:
Serves as the in-house subject matter expert on 508 Compliance and accessibility standards
Reviews and provides feedback on adherence to 508 Compliance in work product, including Microsoft Word documents, PDF’s, live forms, and webpages
Provides remediation options to work product as needed
Ensures adherence is up-to-date with WCAG guidelines and any additional regulatory and legislative changes, technology changes, and industry best practices
Develops and facilities 508 Compliance training to staff
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of direct experience with 508 Compliance
Exceptional skill in interpreting and applying 508 Compliance regulations
Excellent analysis, research, and attention to detail skills
Ability to use common 508 Compliance tools including screen readers and manual checks
Ability to provide 508 remediation to systems
Ability to obtain additional 508 certifications as regulatory standards evolve
Ability to develop and provide training to staff
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to operate within timelines
Ability to stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with others as well as a demonstrated ability to work independently
