- Lead, train, and motivate a team of janitorial staff to deliver high-quality service.
- Create work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance for improvement.
- Oversee and ensure the efficient execution of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and restroom maintenance.
- Monitor the use of cleaning equipment and supplies to maintain inventory.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with cleaning standards.
- Conduct daily inspections
- Address and resolve client concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for any site-related issues.
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and expectations.
- Manage the budget for janitorial supplies, equipment, and staffing.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
- Generate regular reports on cleaning and maintenance activities, performance metrics, and inventory levels.
- Previous Management experience
- Previous experience in janitorial or facility management, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, janitorial equipment, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer software and the ability to generate reports.
- A commitment to safety and compliance with cleaning and environmental standards.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
