Tone Products, a leader in the development and manufacturing of private label cocktail mixers, coffee syrups, sauces & marinades, is looking to hire 3rd Shift Production employees. This is all full time, permanent, and benefits eligible position.
Position Summary: The production Line Lead is directly responsible for a line within the manufacturing function, while supporting the production Floor Lead within the line to ensure an efficient operation in achieving business objectives. The Production Line Leader is responsible for being a leadership resource to team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support, and advice. The Line Leader is responsible for knowing the proper procedures for workers to follow and ensuring that they execute what is expected from them. The production Line Leader encourages team effort and supportive attitudes between workers. The Line leader is responsible for the safety and productivity of all production employees staffed on the designated team. The Line Leader is accountable for ensuring that production scheduled for completion is achieved in a timely manner and within all quality parameters. Will assist in the development of the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, while fostering a culture of safety and comradery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The line Leader should be at the line on time to evaluate the line for safety and functionality, ensure the line is ready for production and make sure we have all the materials needed for production.
- The Line Leader will lead and oversee a group of team members within the Production Line to ensure efficient operations.
- Motivate co-workers to enhance production quantity and at the same time maintain high production standards while tracking it.
- Assist, train, new, existing, and temporary employees on proper procedures and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic adjustments/repairs.
- Ensure that all SKUs are packed according to the production schedule.
- Ensure the quality of the product, accuracy of weights, correct labels are placed on bottles, boxes, and troubleshoot any problems that may arise.
- Effectively change over and setup line correctly.
- Complete proper paperwork/documentation regarding each item.
- Must be knowledgeable of our programs.
- Ensure that all employees within the line are following company GMPs- (General Manufacturing practices).
- Maintain a clean and organized area.
- Ability to work overtime when needed, including weekends.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills/ Abilities:
- Exercise considerable initiative/judgment in work methods and in interpreting and delegating work requirements/goals.
- Basic mechanical works experience and must be safety conscious.
- Ability to lead by example, gain respect from team and communicate with clarity while demonstrating excellence in approach to work and people activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Spanish is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage a wide variety of activities at the same time in a fast-paced work environment.
- Basic math skills, and the ability to do conversions.
- Proficient PC skills, and ability to write and interpreted effectively via production forms.
- Sit down forklift experience preferred.
- Physically able to lift up to 55 lbs., bend, reach, and stand on concrete floor for shift duration.
- May work at different workstations as production needs require or shift from one line to another during the process.
o Able to understand and follow good manufacturing practices (GMP), standardized sanitary operating procedures (SSOP), and (SQF).
Required Education & Experience:
o High School diploma, and/or 2 – 4 years of related experience or training in the food beverage industry.
o Reliable, punctual and with a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
o Effective communication skills, and the ability to speak, understand, read, and write English.
o Must be approachable, proactive, and self-directive with the ability to give direction to the associates, delegate tasks, and provide associates’ feedback.
Must be detailed orientated, have strong reading, written, and verbal communication skills and solid problem-solving abilities.
