POSITION SUMMARY:
The School of Social Work in the College of Behavioral & Social Sciences is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2024-25 academic year and the state-support Summer 2024 term. Appointments from the Lecturer Pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The minimum education requirement for a lecturer appointment is a Masters of Social Work degree. For some courses, an exception may be made for someone who possess a degree in a related/relevant field. In addition, candidates must have a minimum of two years post-MSW degree Social Work professional experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A PhD is preferred. Experience teaching is a plus. Bilingual candidates will be given preference.
Responsibilities:
Lecturer positions in the department carry responsibilities in the areas of teaching. Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the department.
