POSITION / TITLE: Social Work Program Associate

RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Social Work

PROGRAM ADDRESS: 2142 Jerrold Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94124

STATUS: Non-exempt (hourly)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

MISSION:

Meals on Wheels provides a network of services that allow seniors to live in their homes with dignity and independence as long as possible.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Meals on Wheels San Francisco works to help seniors live independently with dignity, in their own homes, for as long as it is safely possible. The Social Work department plays an integral role in helping seniors stay healthy and safe.

The Social Work Program Associate supports the Social Work Department in the implementation of the Meals on Wheels SF mission by providing administrative and programmatic support to the department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience

· High school diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree or higher preferred

· At least 2 years administrative experience in a non-profit or social service organization setting

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook/Word/Excel

· Experience entering information and generating reports from databases, Salesforce preferred

· Bilingual preferred; Spanish, Cantonese, Russian, Tagalog or Mandarin
