OVERVIEW
Bayfield High School is seeking a High School Spanish teacher to work with students in the ninth through twelfth grades. Lessons will be focused on teaching students the essentials skills to speak, read, and write Spanish. In addition to language acquisition, there is a focus on learning about Spanish cultures: arts, food, music, and more.
Bayfield School District is located in the mountains of Southwest Colorado and is a short drive to Purgatory Resort, Wolf Creek Ski Area, and historic Durango. QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently hold a Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsement (or CDE licensure application in process)
• Maintain a valid Colorado driver's license.
• Submit fingerprints for a criminal background check.
• Completed and submitted BSD on-line application.

EDUCATIONANDTRAINING

• Minimum Bachelor's degree with a focus on Spanish language preferred.

CERTIFICATES,LICENSES,ANDREGISTRATIONS

• Colorado Teaching License.
• Possess or be eligible for the appropriate Colorado Spanish endorsement.

SALARY
Per the Bayfield School District teacher salary schedule based on education and years of experience.
