Summary of Position

This position is accountable for providing quality care and services by obtaining insurance benefits and pre-authorization when needed for services offered by COASTAL ORTHOPEDICS.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of (1) year experience in a Medical setting performing medical Insurance Authorizations and verification, including worker’s compensation.
• Working knowledge of NextGen or similar EMR system preferred.
• Working knowledge of Medical Terminology, Insurance Terminology, ICD.10 and CPT codes.
