Riverview is seeking a full-time 7/8 Grade Spanish Science teacher to be part of our 50/50 two-way dual language program for the 2024-25 school year and beyond. For "bilingual positions", candidates must have the ability to teach in Spanish and English. Required Qualifications:
* Colorado Teaching License
Desired Qualifications:
* Elementary or middle school teaching experience
* Experience teaching a diverse population of students including English Language Learners and previous work with intentionally implementing culturally responsive instruction
* Strong background in literacy and mathematics instruction

The successful candidate should have a strong passion for Science and Spanish language and culture, will be an outstanding linguist with the ability to teach throughout the ability range up to or near-native standard. Riverview teachers are expected to be able to build exceptional relationships with students and the ability to get student engagement is an essential skill.
All teachers at Riverview are in charge of their own advisory (CREW). Candidates must possess, teach, and model the RFSD Habits of Scholar. Candidates must be willing to sponsor and support existing student programs. Selected candidates will be asked to provide a demonstration of their ability to teach to a wide range of students.

Pay Range
$54,000 to $84,320 **Based on education and years of experience; this salary will be earned over a 185-day calendar and paid over the twelve month contract period.
**Annual salary noted above is based on an 8 hour day (FTE 1) and full days worked calendar. Any position that is less than a full FTE/8 hours per day or late start will be prorated accordingly.
