The 1871 marketing team is looking for a professionally driven, creative, and highly motivated Design Intern to support our graphic content strategy!
This role will involve support 1871’ Marketing Team with producing a combination of visual assets for social campaigns, print, and sales assets
Projects May Include:
- Animating graphics for email and social campaigns
- Refreshing existing externally facing graphics to (re) engage our community
- Building complex visuals that demonstrate the 1871 experience / products/Events
- Creating templates for internal use
- Supporting the optimization of sales decks presentations
Requirements
- Small portfolio of design examples - personal or professional
- Canava - branding, templates, animation, effects
- Adobe Illustrator
- History of receiving and implementing feedback
- Strong interest in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship
- Self-starter and ability to work autonomously and in cross-functional teams
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Basic computer processing skills, including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Time: Monday - Thursday, 10 am-4 pm (hours and time commitment may be flexible if agreed upon by the supervisor and the internship candidate before the start of the internship)
This internship starts in January 2024 and can be in-person or remote.
