GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This is a professional administrative position that provides supervision to the staff and managers in Children and Adolescent Services, including: Outreach Services, Case Management Service, Children’s Outpatient Services, Wraparound Services, and Juvenile/Mental Health. This person also provides administrative supervision to the Child Services Contractual Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse and volunteers. It is expected that the person in this position will possess advanced experience and expertise and must exercise considerable independent clinical and supervisory judgment in carrying out the assigned duties. The position is under the general guidance and supervision of the Chief Program Officer.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Coordinate, plan, organize and direct the service delivery of the Child and Adolescent Program components
- Collaborate with CEO and CPO and other program staff in formulating agency goals and operational policies and procedures
- Participate in selection of staff
- Is responsible for supervision, training, evaluation and discipline of outreach program staff and other child supervisors
- Develop and maintain contacts with community resources, other agencies, funding agencies, advocacy groups, etc. to facilitate referral systems, coordination of services, dissemination of public information, and acceptance in the community
- Direct and oversee all recordkeeping and collection of necessary statistics
- Prepare reports to ensure compliance with all funding and monitoring sources
- Develop and participate in Utilization Review, in-service training, accreditation compliance and is a member of the agency’s Leadership Team
- Obtain and maintain CAFAS reliable rater status
- May seek additional funding through grants applications to foundations and community groups
- May provide and/or direct emergency services
- Responsible for ensuring that each program area of responsibility meets agency productivity/performance standards
- Must adhere to agency policies and procedures
- Adhere to all requirements/standards of the Telehealth Agreement
- Other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
A. Education, Licensure and/or Certification
- Master’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work
- Appropriate State of Michigan licensure
B. Experience
- 5 years of progressively more responsible professional experience with the child/family population
- At least 3 years in an administrative supervisory capacity
Agency Requirements:
- Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, a good driving record, and valid insurance of personal vehicle, if used, which is acceptable to Development Centers’ insurance carrier.

Pay: $74,655.00 - $111,930.00 per year
