Limited X-Ray Technician

We're now hiring a full time Limited X-Ray Technician to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Performs radiographic procedures as ordered by a physician
• Position patient correctly for x-ray procedures
• Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Develop, process, and select optimum x-ray images
• Review and evaluate x-rays to determine the quality and if they need to be redone
• Answer patient questions as they relate to the procedure
• Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
• Determines proper technique through the selection of voltage, current and exposure time.
• Assisting with back office duties

Qualifications:

• Current CA state limited x-ray tech license in Chest, Torso-Skeletal, Extremities, Skull (preferred) and Digital Radiography
• Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program
• 1 year of clinical experience in x-ray and medical assistant
• Operate within x-ray standards of care
• Fluent in Spanish speaking is a must
• Must be willing to work weekends as well

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
