A prominent and trusted publisher of online consumer-facing health product reviews and recommendations is seeking a full-time Writer/Editor. At Innerbody, we publish articles that help people make more informed purchasing decisions when seeking products or services they can use to achieve their wellness goals.

Core Responsibilities
- Writing new, in-depth product/service review content
- Editing rough drafts submitted by a network of writers
- Conducting deep third-party and product research to improve and maintain existing content
- Reorganizing and revising submitted content to improve clarity and reflect marketing goals
- Staying current on new developments in telehealth
- Contributing to weekly editorial team meetings
Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree with a writing-intensive major
- At least one year of experience writing and/or editing consumer-facing product review content for online publications
- Strength and versatility as a writer — the skills to write engaging, approachable text while maintaining a predefined, authoritative voice
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A love of numbers and scientific subjects
- Comfort working independently in a 100% virtual team environment (Slack, email, unlimited office pets, lounge pants, etc.)
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of online writing/editing experience preferred
- Writing/editing experience specifically in a health product context
Full-time employment comes with health benefits, PTO, 401K, etc., and salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. For promising candidates, we like to start with a several-week phase of part-time work whenever possible, enabling both you and us to assess the "fit" before we all commit fully; the scope of such a period is negotiable.
