Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Wraparound Program Lead, the Wraparound Child and Family Specialist (CFS) works with Wraparound Facilitator and Wraparound Parent Partner and participates in the Child and Family Team to provide direct services to the Child and Family as identified in the Plan of Care. The Wraparound Child and Family Specialist works with children and their families in their home/out-of-home placements and their respective communities. The Wraparound Child and Family Specialist assists in determining clients' need for community services and providing community resources in a timely manner. Additionally, the Wraparound Child and Family Specialist completes all required documentation and paperwork in accordance with agency and county standards.
Essential Functions

• Incorporation of informal supports, natural Family helpers, and other Community resources.
• Outcomes for children and Families.
• Feedback from children and Families Community services providers.
• Provide case management and advocacy services including obtaining and facilitating client information, participation and feedback regarding service delivery and problem solving
• Collaborate with team members to assess and identify the client's need for community services and assist client in finding community resources in a timely manner
• With supervision serve as a liaison between client, agency and community agencies and organizations
• Provide individualized treatment, contribute to individual/group counseling and assist client in keeping appointments
• With supervision help identify client needs and triggers (within a strength based model) to escalation and barriers and make recommendations to supervisors and treatment team
• Participate in team/staff conferences regarding solutions to Wraparound Services clients' barriers.
• Regularly meet with supervisor and/or clinical staff
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork in accordance with agency and county standards
• Report any concerns regarding client services and satisfaction to appropriate team member
• Attend all program or agency trainings and meetings as required
• Drive personal vehicle as necessary
• Sensitive and responsive to the cultural differences among the agency's client population
• Actively participate in the quality improvement project

The Wraparound Child and Family Specialist will take on special projects or additional duties as assigned by the Wraparound Program Lead.
Competency Requirements
-Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
-Ability to work effectively as a member of the Wraparound team
-Ability to work effectively with families of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds
-Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
-Must have excellent interpersonal skills
-Must have strong organizational and planning skills
-Knowledge of social services system and community resources
-Knowledgeable in Wraparound philosophy, policy and process
-Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Education and Experience
-Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or related field and 2 to 3 years of experience working with children or adolescents and their families
-Experience in crisis management
Certifications/Licenses
-Valid CA driver's license
-Valid automobile insurance
Additional Requirements
-Tuberculosis clearance
-Department of Justice/Fingerprint clearance
-Satisfactory completion of health screening
-Proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States
-Satisfactory driving record

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of a Wraparound Child and Family Specialist, the employee is frequently required to walk, drive, sit, and use their fingers to manipulate a keyboard or writing instrument. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, and reach. The employee is rarely required to run, bend, kneel or lift objects weighing more than 30 pounds.
Work Environment
The work environment is indoor and outdoors. The noise level varies from quiet to loud. As a Wraparound Child and Family Specialist, the employee is required to conduct home visits.
