We need qualified personnel who can adapt to each child and family’s needs. Our goals are, to provide an individualized intervention plan, consisting of goals and outcomes based on the family’s concerns, priorities, and resources, and the child’s strengths and needs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Providing intervention services based on children’s needs, strengths, and preferences reflected in their Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals, and family’s concerns.
Help children to improve all areas of development such as gross and fine motor skills, independence, cognitive skills, social competence, emotional growth and
Supporting parents in meeting their responsibilities (effective parenting) to nurture and enhance their children.
The position of behavior staff will be to take part in working with and teaching young children with disabilities as part of a team. The staff will be trained by a Behavior Specialist. The training will include information on how to implement other teaching methodologies that have proven to be helpful with children with autism. The behavior intervention staff will specifically conduct structured teaching in the family's home. They will implement changes made to the child's home program and ensure that they are collecting daily data on each program/goal taught. The objective of the behavior staff is to help our children to be independent and have a successful life.
Job Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field (Required).
3. Great writing skills. (Required)
4.. Valid Drivers license and car insurance (Required).
5. Must be computer literate, dependable, organized, very detail-oriented, and have flexible availability.
6. Drive between 10 and 30 miles from your location.
7. Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the families with availability up to 8:00 pm.
8. Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred).
We train ALL team members to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
