Remote Work Control Specialist
Pay: $45000
Shift: 3PM – 11PM Eastern Time
Location: Remote (covering FL, GA, SC, AZ, TX)
The Work Control Specialist position follows clearly detailed specific procedures in completing several repetitive clerical steps performed in a prescribed or slightly varied sequence, such as coding and filing documents in an extensive alphabetical file; could involve simple posting to individual accounts, opening mail, calculating and posting charges to departmental accounts, operating basic office equipment, e.g., photocopier, facsimile, multi-line phone/voicemail systems, mailing machines, and minimal computer programs. Little or no subject-matter knowledge is required, but the clerk uses his or her own judgment in choosing the proper procedure for each task.
Responsibilities
Performs a variety of Work Control activities, including service call reception, service dispatch and CMMS (Corrigo and Government-owned systems) work entry.
Provide reception and dispatch services for unplanned maintenance services using a Government-provided system
Update company work management system with all planned and unplanned work
Takes personal ownership of each customer's satisfaction
Provides initial welcome and troubleshooting for all incoming service calls
Provides ongoing communication with each customer to assure total satisfaction
Resolves customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
Updates work order management system at each step of the service call process (incoming, dispatch, close out)
Dispatch work to company technicians and subcontractors
Update contract databases, as required, including reporting, training records, subcontractor information, safety data, etc
Requirements
Demonstrated skills with work management systems, including Corrigo
Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals.
MUST like talking with people and making them happy
High school diploma, with 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience managing work in both virtual and office settings desirable
Work nights and weekends
