Role Overview
As an Entry-Level WordPress Developer in AmeriLife Benefits' Marketing department, you'll have a unique opportunity to launch your career in a role that blends technology with creativity. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our digital platforms, including corporate websites and client portals. This position is tailored for those eager to apply their collegiate learning in a dynamic, real-world setting, offering ample opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and creative input within a team that values innovation and collaborative success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain diverse web platforms, including corporate sites, client and CRM portals, and intranet systems.
- Integrate with various third-party SaaS solutions.
- Write efficient, testable code using best software development practices.
- Design website layouts and user interfaces using HTML/CSS.
- Integrate data from back-end services and databases.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and apply them effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in web programming (PHP, JavaScript, WordPress).
- Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS and entry-level knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with network diagnostics and analytics tools.
- Basic understanding of SEO.
- Problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
