As the Woodshop Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role within our "Live the Mission" portfolio working to coordinate and oversee the Restoration Woodshop operations. This position involves strategic planning, relationship building, and hands-on leadership. Our woodshop is a relatively new, generously resourced, and widely admired initiative dedicated to providing beds for families in need, vocational training, and spiritual and relational growth opportunities for our church congregation.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct Leadership of Restoration Woodshop

• Oversee the daily operations of the Restoration Woodshop.
• Provide mentorship, training, and direction to build-day participants.
• Coordinate with local businesses and organizations for funding and resource provision.
• Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure the success of the Restoration Woodshop.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers involved in the Restoration Woodshop.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for volunteers.

Qualifications:

• A deep commitment to the Christian faith and a passion for service.
• Proven experience in project management, community engagement, or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and motivate others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people, including church staff, volunteers, community leaders, and mission partners.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
