QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma or Associate's degree and at least 2 years in a patient care/mental health office setting
- at least one-year Medical Assistant or Mental/Behavioral Health experience preferred, but not required.
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Basic Life Support (BLS) appreciated but not required
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- EMR – TrakStar and Advanced MD preferred but not required
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to develop rapport with clients quickly
Responsibilities:
- Check clients in and out daily on EMR
- Maintain sanitation procedures between clients
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation to patients with depression-training provided
- Administer esketamine medication to clients with depression-training provided
- Take blood pressure readings and records in REMS software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Billing software knowledge
- Knowledge of marketplace insurance payers & medical necessity guidelines are highly preferred, but not required, for this position
- Clinical Interviewing and supportive listening to clients
- Ability to work well with a team and independently.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and interface well with patients in a mental-health setting
