Wedding And Event Sales & Coordination

Responsibilities:
- Event venue tours and sales: Meet with potential clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget. Meet and ideally exceed sales goals with prompt follow up on inquiries and delivery of proposals after tours.
- Create detailed event timelines, floor plans, BEOs, and manage all aspects of venue event logistics.
- Coordinate with in-house catering team and contracted vendors to ensure all services are delivered as contracted.
- Oversee team responsible for event setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process and on the day of the event.
- Handle any issues or challenges that may arise during events with grace and professionalism.

*Weekends are required, but we hope to be able to offer an alternating schedule with a Monday through Friday week followed by a Wednesday through Sunday week.

Skills:
- Excellent time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed within deadlines
- Strong organizational skills to keep track of multiple events and details simultaneously
- Experience in events management, preferably in the wedding industry
- Exceptional customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and vendors
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies to attract potential clients
- Familiarity with hotel and catering services for venue selection and menu planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and team members
- Strong problem-solving abilities to handle any challenges that may arise during events
- Knowledge of event planning best practices and industry trends
- Understanding of hospitality standards to provide a high level of service to clients
